handle your information. Unlike traditional web services, we have designed our system to maximize your
control, meaning the sensitive personal information you enter into your CV (like phone numbers,
addresses, and work history) remains on your device.
2. Data Collection & Storage
We do not collect, store, or sell your personal CV data.
Local Browser Storage: We use your browser's localStorage to auto-save
your progress so you don't lose your work if you accidentally close the tab. This data lives on your
device, not our servers.
No Database: We do not maintain a database of user CVs. When you click "Save", you
are downloading a JSON file to your own device. When you "Load", you are reading that file from your
device.
Image Uploads: Profile pictures are processed locally in your browser using Canvas
API and are not uploaded to any remote server.
3. Analytics
To improve our service, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This helps us understand how
users interact with the website (e.g., which templates are popular, page load times).
What is collected: Anonymized usage data, device type, region (country/city level),
and potential interactions.
What is NOT collected: The actual text content of your CV, your specific inputs, or
personally identifiable information (PII).
Our AI text enhancement features are powered by Google's Gemini API.
API Keys: If you choose to use AI features, you must provide your own API key. This
key is stored securely in your browser's Local Storage (gemini_key) and is never sent
to our servers.
Data Transmission: When you use the "AI Enhance" button, the specific text you
selected is sent directly from your browser to Google's servers for processing.
Data Retention: We do not log or store your AI prompts or the generated responses.

Service for how they handle data sent to their API.
5. Your Rights & Control
Since your data is stored locally:
Access & Portability: You can download your data anytime using the "Save
Schema/JSON" option in the editor.
Erasure: You can wipe all your data from the application by simply clearing your
browser's cache/cookies or by using browser developer tools to clear localStorage.
Opt-Out: You can use this application in "Incognito" or "Private" mode to ensure no
local data persists after your session ends.
